White Waterlily

2 Nov

The fragrant floating white flowers of the American White Waterlily can be found on most lakes, ponds & ditches throughout Florida. The flowers open up with the daylight, then close again by mid-day. Each flower does this for about 3 days then dies off. They only do well in still water, so these are not found in running streams.
