Hairypod Cowpea

5 Sep

I found this vine growing (very well!) behind the docks at Cedar Key, so obviously salt tolerant. The vines were thick along the shore and covered with lovely yellow flowers. This vine is host plant for the cassius blue, gray hairstreak, long-tailed skipper and dorantes skipper butterflies.
