Beach False Foxglove

13 Aug

A patch of these beautiful flowers were found growing along the trail in the St. Mark’s National Wildlife Refuge near Tallahassee. If you can be sure to go there. It is one of the most natural spaces in Florida and at the end of the road is the  picturesque St. Mark’s lighthouse. There were many butterflies taking nectar from the flowers. This one is the Cloudless Sulphur Butterfly.
